| Baccarat
Baccarat is a sophisticated European card game. The goal is
to draw a hand with a card total of nine. You can bet on
either the player or banker being dealt a hand closer to nine.
Or, you can bet on a tie between the two. You can also bet a
combination of player win and a tie or banker win and a
tie.
The player and the banker are each dealt two cards.
Depending on the total of the two cards, a third card may be automatically dealt. The winning hand
is the one with a card total closest to nine. If a tie occurs
and you placed a Tie bet, you win.

Rules
Baccarat uses a four deck shoe that is reshuffled after
every hand.
The goal is to build a hand that is as close to nine as
possible. The player and the banker are each dealt two cards.
Depending on the card totals for these two cards, a winner is
determined or a third card is dealt.
No hand receives more than three cards. A third card is
dealt based on the Third
Card Rule. All cards at dealt automatically by the
casino.
Tens and face cards are worth zero, aces are worth one. All
other cards are worth their face value. If the total for a
hand exceeds nine, the hand value is determined by subtracting
10 from the hand total. For example:
You may bet on the banker winning, the player winning, or a
tie between the banker and the player. You may also bet a
combination of the banker and a Tie or the player and a Tie.
You cannot place a banker and player combination bet.
Third Card
Rule
After the first two cards are dealt, a third card may be
dealt, subject to the Third Card Rule. The player’s hand is always played first followed by
the banker’s hand. The play of the
banker’s hand is determined by the
card total of the player’s hand.
The following table illustrates Baccarat game play and the
Third Card Rule.
